I'm Michael Hartmann, an illustrator, designer, animator, developer and guitarist. In short and artist. I have been creating my entire life and obsessed with guitars since the mid-eighties. Several years ago I decided to try and develop photo-real guitar illustrations only using vectors. The experiment lead me to creating a wide range of guitars that have influenced and inspired me through the years. After the passing of my guitar hero, Eddie Van Halen, I started to do a tribute to the many guitars that he had played through his career. With some 32 designs just on his guitars, I thought it would be great to have a single place to showcase these designs as well as add to the many guitar illustrations I want to do and from there vctrgtr was born. The guitars in this gallery are my own personal collection, the ones I play. In the future I'll include some of my own designs. There is plenty more to come.
